Explanation of measure

The measure is an estimate derived from the General Social Survey. It is the estimate of the proportion of the Tasmanian population aged 18 or more who have worked to provide a local area service or activity. This draft benchmark is currently being developed by the Progress Board. Draft targets have been established and recommendations to complete the benchmark will be put to Parliament for approval later this year.
