During the year ending on the 31st December 2001, there were 800 enrolments in cultural heritage courses in Tasmania.

Why do we use this Measure?

An increased number of trained cultural heritage practitioners will raise standards in all aspects of heritage conservation and presentation

Explanation of measure

The measure is a count of enrolments in selected UniTas and VET institute courses. Included are UniTas higher degree, postgraduate and undergraduate courses in Architecture, Environmental Design, Tourism (History and Heritage units), and Law (Heritage Law units) and VET institute courses for architects, librarians, archivists, historians, conservators, museum or gallery curators, architectural associates, library technicians, museum or art gallery technicians, library assistants, and museum or gallery attendants.
