Why do we use this Measure?

Events held by multicultural communities improve awareness of the diversity of Tasmania’s cultural life and extend interest in and respect for other cultures

Explanation of measure

The measure is a count of events staged in a calendar year. These include events hosted by community groups, non-government organisations or a local councils working with people of diverse backgrounds, where members of the community are invited to attend.
