Baseline Measurement

In the 12 months ending in April 2001, selected cultural venues attendances by Tasmanians aged 18 were estimated at 610,500.

Why do we use this Measure?

Attendance at these venues is one measure of our society’s interest in arts and culture

Explanation of measure

The measure is an estimate based on a household survey conducted by the ABS. It is an estimate of selected cultural venues attendances by Tasmanians aged 18 or more over a 12 months period
