Why do we use this Measure?

Active involvement in the arts and cultural activities should stimulate community interest in the arts and build an environment conducive to creativity

Explanation of measure

The measure is an estimate based on a household survey conducted by the ABS. It is an estimate of the proportion of Tasmanians aged 15 or more involved in paid or unpaid work in selected culture and leisure activities over a 12 month period.
