In a twelve month period in 1995, an estimated 26.8% of the Tasmanian population aged 18 or more had volunteered.

Explanation of measure

The measure is an estimate from household surveys conducted by the ABS. It is the estimate of the proportion of people aged 18 or more who volunteered at any time in a 12 month period before the survey.
