At the time of 2001 National Health Survey, an estimated 71.6% of the Tasmanian population aged 18 or more exercised at sedentary or low exercise levels.

Explanation of measure

The measure is an estimate derived from the National Health Survey. It is the estimate of the proportion of the Tasmanian population aged 18 or more who exercised at a sedentary or low exercise level at the time of the survey.
