Explanation of measure

The measure is expenditure on mineral exploration in Tasmania over a twelve month period ending on 30th June. Two measures are presented: total expenditure on exploration in Tasmania; and total expenditure in Tasmania expressed as a proportion of the total expenditure on exploration Australia-wide. Expenditure on petroleum exploration is not included.
